2011 Cricket World Cup - India Create Dazzling Victory on Sri Lanka

THE largest cricketing event, ICC World Cup Cricket 2011, Starts from February 19 and it is the tenth edition of Cricket World Cup. 2011 Cricket World Cup equally organized by India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Pakistan being dismiss from being the hosts of the tournament. In this tournament 14 countries teams take parts for match .This tournament contain the ten test playing nation and four teams that who won the world cup in previous matches. These teams are India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh, West Indies, England, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, Kenya, Netherlands and Canada. Preponderance of the games will be played in India, but Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will have their light divide.  The two quarter-finals will played in India, and other two quarter-finals matches divided in two countries Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Same as one semi-final will be played in India and one in Sri Lanka. The final match will be played at the newly constructed Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

These teams divided into two groups A and B, the group A will have the teams of Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Australia, New Zealand, Zimbabwe, Canada and Kenya where as in  group B teams  South Africa, India Bangladesh, England, Netherland, and Ireland. The opening presentation of the tournament will be declared in Bangladesh sooner than the first game of the tournament will be played at the Sher-e-Bangla Cricket Stadium in Dhaka the match held between the hosts Bangladesh and India.

Cricket is debated as a faith in India and people are passionate about Cricket, particularly in this part of the world.  The 9 Cricket World Cups have been planned by ICC. Australia have come forward winner of the 4matches and intimately next is West Indies, who won the opening and the very next World Cup. All the Indian land mass teams – India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka team have won 1 World Cup each. Australia team won the 1987, 1999, 2003 and 2007 World Cup. West Indies won the 1975 and 1979 World Cup. India won the1983 Cricket World Cup, Pakistan won on 1992 and Sri Lanka won in 1996.Quarter Final matches found numerous of awful results the teams of Ireland, Netherland, and Bangladesh. The teams reached in quarterfinal match were Pakistan, West Indies, Australia, India, New Zealand, South Africa, England and Sri Lanka.  And the teams qualified the quarter-final match and reached in Semi finals was Pakistan, India, New Zealand and Sri Lanka.

The First Semi final match of 2011 Cricket World Cup held on 29 March in Colombo between Sri Lanka and New Zealand. New Zealand Won the toss and decides to bat first, and made a score of 217 runs by lost of all wickets in 48.5 overs. In return Sri Lanka chased the score and made 220/5 wickets in 47.5 overs and won the semi final match or entered in the world cup final.

The Second super semi final match held on 30 March in Mohali between India vs Pakistan. The semi final of India and Pakistan will be the most exciting match of 2011 Cricket world cup. Both countries want to hit each others. Both teams want to win this jumbo match and winning team has more chances to lift the Cricket World Cup 2011. India won the toss and decides to bat first. India team made a target score of 250/9 wickets in 50 overs. And in return Pakistan only chased the score of 231 by lost of all wickets in 48.5 overs. Indian Captain Dhoni thought that its anxiety game and most pressure on our side but our player well know to how manage it. We defeat Pakistan dangerous team if our player bears this pressure with simplicity.

The final Cricket World Cup 2011 played between Sri Lanka and India in Wankhede Stadium on April 2, 2011. Sri Lanka won the toss and decides to bat first. The team player of Sri Lanka participating in the World Cup 2011 was WU Tharanga, WU Tharanga, TM Dilshan, KC Sangakkara, DPMD Jayawardene ,TT Samaraweera,  CK Kapugedera , KMDN Kulasekara,  NLTC Perera , SL Malinga, S Randiv, M Muralitharan, and Indian player was V Sehwag,  SR Tendulkar,  G Gambhir,  V Kohli,  MS Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh, SK Raina, Harbhajan Singh, Z Khan, MM Patel, S Sreesanth. Sri Lanka opening starts not so much impressive in the Zaheer bowling. In the beginning of match Sri Lanka lost the Wicket of Upul Tharanga and the wicket took by Zaheer Khan. Sri Lanka opener batsman Tillakaratne Dilshan was bowled by Harbhajan singh and in the other hand Sreesanth’s give 52 runs in 8 overs .Kumara Sangakkara the Captain of Sri Lanka was construct  a  good paternship with Dilshan. After some time Sri Lanka team got another surprise when they lost the wicket of Dilshan at the score of 60/2 in 17 over. Next batsman came Mahela Jayawardene and tried to make good partnership but before making Sangakkara caught by Dhoni at 48 runs. Thilan Samaraweera came after Sangakkara and out in first ball of Yuvraj Singh. Chamara Kapugedera caught out by Zaheer Khan. Jayawardene continued in the pitch and made a score of 103runs not out in 88 balls Sri Lanka batsman Nuwan Kulasekara and thisara scored 91 runs in last 10 overs and in the powerplay of last five overs helps sri Lanka made 63 runs and made a score of 274/6 in 50 overs lost of 6 wickets.

In return India had a trembling opening with Virender Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar both out at the score of 31 and the wicket took by Lasith Malinga. After Virat Kohali and Gutam Gambhir came and manage the innings by play some smooth stroke and good running between the wickets and India score 114 Kohali caught out by Tillakaratne.  Kholi and Gambhir made a panership of 83 runs. After Kohali Captain Dhoni came, Ghambhir and Dohni made 109 runs and lost the fourth wicket of Gambhir score 97 runs and bowelled by Thisara Perera. Yuvraj Singh and Dhoni preserved the match and beating a six off Nuwan Kulaskara. India chases the target of 274 and won the 2011 World Cup. Captain Dohni announced theman of the match and Yuvraj sing man of the series.

2007 Cricket World Cup - Australian Team Again Lift The Trophy

Cricket World Cup 2007 was the 9th edition of the ICC cricket match and it was held in the West Indies.  And this was the initial time West Indies was hosting the World Cup Cricket 2007. In this tournaments 16 teams was participated and the teams was divided into 4 groups. The top 2 teams from each group were selected or moving for the Super 8 round. Group A laid teams was Australia, South Africa, Scotland and Netherlands. Group B consisted the teams was Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, India and Bermuda. In group C under teams was New Zealand, England, Kenya and Canada and Pakistan, West Indies, Zimbabwe and Ireland represent Group D. The teams selected for super final such as Australia, Sri Lanka, New Zealand, South Africa, England, West Indies, Bangladesh and Ireland from these four groups. The teams was qualified the  Super 8 round Sri Lanka, New Zealand, Australia and South Africa took place into the semi finals.

The first semi final innings was held at Sabina Park, and Sri Lanka faced New Zealand. Sri Lanka is close to mitigating their creative tag as the insiders. Sri Lanka, Captain Mahela Jayawardene, hit the New Zealand before reached in the World Cup final 2007. Captain Mahela Jayawardene made a unbeaten score 115 and it help to made redoubtable scored 289/5 wickets, and then Muttiah Muralitharan masterminded a middle-order fall down as they allow to New Zealand team go to the resistance at the score of 208 runs in 49.2 overs. The New Zealand team was appeared fifth time and again they have missed the chance to step in the World Cup final while Sri Lanka is back in the final, from the time when winning it in 1996. 

 The Second innings of semi final match was held at Saint Lucia stadium between Australia and South Africa. South Africa decides to bat first and all players out at the score of 149 in 43.5 overs .Whereas Australia follow the target contentedly with 7 wickets in hand of 18 overs left. Australia defeated the South Africa by 7 wickets.Australia team again took place in the final Cricket World Cup 2007 by beating South Africa in the semifinal match and in other hand Sri Lanka crushed the New Zealand in semi final match and reached in final match.

The grand final of the 2007 world cup cricket held at Kensington Oval in Bridgetown Australia faced Sri Lanka. The players presented the Sri Lanka team in 2007 Cricket World Cup was Sanath Jayasuriya, Upul Tharanga, Kumar Sangakkara, Mahela Jayawardene (captain), Chamara Silva, Tillekeratne Dilshan, Russel Arnold, Chaminda Vaas, Lasith Malinga, Muttiah Muralitharan, Dilhara Fernando and Australia players was Adam Gilchrist, Matthew Hayden, Ricky Ponting (captain), Michael Clarke, Andrew Symonds, Michael Hussey, Shane Watson, Brad Hogg, Nathan Bracken, Shaun Tait, Glenn McGrath. The Cricket World Cup 2007 has the rain- struck innings of 38 over only.

Australia won the toss and chooses to bat first. Opening player of Australia team was Adam Gilchrist (wk) was in glowing form and made a score of 149 runs in 104 balls with the help of 13 fours and 8 sixes. Matthew Hayden, Ricky Ponting and Andrew Symonds played handy innings to obtain the gigantic score of 281.  In reply Sri Lanka chased the whole score fearlessly as experience player Sanat Jayasuriya scored 63 runs in 67 balls but Sri Lanka losted the wicket of Kumar Sangakkara who scored only 54 in 52 balls. Finally the Sri Lanka may possibly make only 215/8 in 36 overs in a rain affected match and lost the Cricket World Cup 2007 final by 53 runs. While, Sri Lanka lost the Cricket World Cup 2007 final by a large edge, still the system were questioned as Sri Lankans have to play a large amount part of their innings beneath in dark. The deluge lights were not established in the stadium. This event polluted the representation of Cricket World Cup 2007 in West Indies. Australia team fulfilled a hatrick in World Cup competition by success and as they won their third uninterrupted title opening from 1999. Australia captain Ricky Ponting pick up the trophy the second repeated time and Australian bowler Glenn McGrath was announced for the Man of the Series.
